Visas

Indian citizens do not need a visa to visit Goa. Visitors from other countries may require a visa and must possess a passport valid for at least three months.

Visa applications

Please check the Entry Requirement to India to review visa rules for your own situation. The CECAR9 will issue Welcome letters to participants to assist them with the visa application to enter India, but only upon full payment of the conference registration fee. For any special cases, kindly contact us by e-mail. Please note that costs may apply.

Although Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India has accorded political clearance for foreign nationals visiting India to attend CECAR9 vide it's office Memorandum No. AA/162/011/2021-95 dated 9th September, 2021 and Addendum No AA/162/011/2021-95-I dated 8th October, 2021.

Deadlines and cancellations

Participants requiring a Welcome letter should register for the conference before the end of July to ensure that the letter arrives in time. The CECAR9 does not give any further support to the visa application process. Obtaining a visa remains the sole responsibility of the participant. Regular cancellation deadlines apply, regardless of whether your visa was granted or not.
